OSTRACIZED!!!

I first heard this word called “Ostracized” when I was in 9th Standard from my English teacher. She would separate few talkative or mischievous boys from the rest of the class and make them sit in one corner bench .She used to term this punishment as ostracizing.
I felt that this term can also be used to describe a recent event in the field of sports. In fact I will use this term to describe the recent IPL 3 Auction, in which the listed 11 Pakistani players were ignored completely.

I am not a supporter of Pakistan’s Govt Policies, but I do feel sad when sports suffer in the hand of few individuals. To be frank, I do not feel that there was a single reason to exclude all the Pakistani players from the mega event.

The event is getting bigger each year. Now the number of venues has also suppressed the number of Franchises. The enthusiasm is getting bigger and better with the coming back of this T20 extravaganza to the nation where it belongs. With each passing years, the expectations of the spectators have gone up by leaps and bounds, which increases the responsibilities of the organizers.

In the midst of all these, an abysmal decision by the IPL authorities has let open controversies and unnecessary speculations. The Home Minister, Mr Chidambaram has clearly stated that Government had no role to play and they had issued visas for all the Pakistani players slated to take part in this edition of the IPL, as promised earlier. The blame game then shifted to the IPL auction committee who gave a very absurd excuse of  player’s availability. If we can go back a year later, we can find n number of players bought in last year’s auction, could only play as few as 3 matches for their respective Franchise’s. Andrew Flintoff  is a classic example of the aforesaid  case.
Naturally, The Cricket Board of Pakistan is smelling politics . They would have directly blamed the Indian Government, if  our Home Minister would not have made his stance clear. Now they are pointing their finger towards the IPL Commissioner , Mr Lalit Modi. Modi has been always taking  support from the opposition ( in this case,NDA) and  changing his statement every week to add fuel to the controversy which could possibly  been avoided by his authority over the IPL.

Shocking!!! people try to cut off the only sweet link left between two countries even when all other connections have turned bitter and try to ostracize some good moments even before their commencement!!!

LOVE

I do not know if I should write it or not, but I cannot stop myself from writing it. A very raw n ruthless fact of our life is that we fall in love. Love, to me is a pain which we invite to trouble ourselves with. Our mind unlike storing our percentage in examinations does not have a register to store when and why the invitation to love was sent.
A perilous fact of falling in love is that we do not even know the consequences of our relationship. Love for me is always true because feelings can be false but not emotions.
As we know there is some gain in pain and the pain of love is not an exception, you will experience some happy moments and then in the very next moment realize that you are in a complete state of penury. It feels as if somebody has taken your heart out of the body and trying to rub it on rough walls with your hands and leg tied to a firm pole. You can shout your heart out but sound does not travel in vacuum.
Love will make you struggle but not successful. Successful are those person who find their love in their own mind and lucky are those whom are found by their love.
Love has created another foolish self within me. Now I do not watch cricket matches but I worry for good times to last long. My foolish mind does not want to learn the basic fact that those good times in love are ephemeral.
I turn numb, try to shift my thoughts to some other idiotic incidents but every time I do that and try to close my eyes, I find that innocent face looking towards me and telling through her eyes that her love is not ersatz.
I try harder to close my eyes but only to find myself wiping small droplets of water from the corner of my eyes.

The movie of the Year 2009

3 idiots

Before I go on writing this piece....
I would like all my readers to excuse me of all grammatical errors ....
Since this is my first blog,I thaught of starting with something familiar and friendly with great retaintion power.hence the choice was immediate....3 Idiots

This is the first movie I saw where I had to wipe my tears in one second and then on the next second I had to stop myself from laughing out loud. No doubt the movie was enjoyable for both category of people, the readers of the Novel five point Someone as well as the non readers.
Hats off to Aamir Khan( not that because he is my favourite actor ,but because of his ability to fool us with his real age) and also to Raj Kumar Hirani for the fantastic twists in the story.
Still I think a little bit of more credit could have been given to the author of the book,Mr Chetan Bhagat from whose novel, the movie was inspired.I am sorry if I am adding some fuel to the controversy.

The movie teaches us the essence of having trustworthy friends. It also stresses on the hard reality which many of the parents do not realise.Parents do some time act childish by forcing their own dreams on their children. They do not let their children realise their own dream.

Truth is also that we( age group 15-24) still donot realise where our passion lies. Some times we do act like mechanised robots. Don't we?

I end this small idiotic piece with this question mark.
Do send me your valuable feedbacks and criticism..
Cheers
A big Hii to all!!!
